No need for car knowledge!
I brought this interactive DVD as I am a big fan of Top Gear although I will openly admit to knowing very little about cars! I was relieved to discover that the questions were more geared towards the show rather than car knowledge. Although on my first attempt I got many questions wrong I enjoyed the different styles of question/picture rounds and the best thing was blowing up the caravans! I also liked the fact that you could play in a team of people or just on your own.

I also really liked the fact that the DVD had clips from previous Top Gears shows and challenges between the rounds and many of the questions were linked to the clip.

This is an excellent DVD mainly for the fact that it appeals to Top Gear fans rather than car buffs.

New perception
I have bought interactive DVDs in the past and frankly been disappointed. I only bought this as I am a Richard Hammond and Top Gear fan.

This game has completely changed my perception of interactive DVDs. It is fast, fun and Top Gear through and through. Richard Hammond is highly entertaining the game itself is brilliant with loads of diversity and the rounds have something for everyone.

Top Gear has had an image re-vamp and it would seem that interactive DVDs have done so too. Together it makes for a truly entertaining game which has plenty of the Top Gear spirit. The excerpts from previous shows and fun rounds for me as well as the wife are highlights!

For a game on a DVD, just brilliant!
What a great game! Hamster's on brilliant form and if you don't enjoy the Caravan Roulette round there is something wrong with you. Highly recommended.
