Wolves from the Sea
Good production standard, with useful information. Some of the illustrations are a bit querky - a bit of an aquired taste.

Overall worth the money.

Standard fare
What we've come to expect, DBA with better production values and a chance for Osprey to reproduce years-old piccies to increase sales of their average books. This volume differs in that teh authors push a friend's book a little too often and also repeat themselves a little too often. I fthe Vikings, Anglo-Danish and Mid-Anglo-Saxon (I may be wrong with the terminology here as I don't have the book before me)all fought in the same way, why waste half a dozen pages on them? Simply describe one army with three alternatives, à la DBA/DBM? MAkes the book shorter? Could be;

Another overpriced rehashed book that you need if moving to FOG; Best toborrow a mate's!

I gibe 3 satrs because the production values are so much better than WRG's John Bull in the attic stuff.
