Following the format of the original programme, teams or players compete to make a row letters across the Blockbusters board. The first player to win two rounds out of three will then be invited to play the legendary Gold Run!

Synopsis
Quiz master Bob Holness invites players to compete in the recreation of the cult TV quiz-show, BLOCKBUSTERS. Following the same format of the television show, this interactive game allows players to battle it out, making rows of letters across the BLOCKBUSTER'S board in the hope of going through to the legendary Gold Run.

Customer Reviews

Very disappointing!1
Very disappointed with this version of Blockbusters - if there's over 1000 questions I'll eat the DVD!! At least 10-12 questions were repeated in two games, it's very slow, the grahics are basic and you can't even pick your own box or try to block your opponents. It's tedious in the extreme and some of the questions wouldn't tax a primary school kid. It's so not worth the money.

Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish1
VERY VERY disappointing. If I could have selected 0 stars I would have done! My views reflect the majority of those below.... ie. you cannot choose a letter it selects for you and not even logically... the questions are constantly repeated... it is slow and dull. We played it once and I am inclined to bin it already as this game only serves to put you to sleep - I have had more fun watching paint dry!

It has been thrown together with the aim of making a fast buck which is annoying to say the least. I have played other interactive dvd games therefore I am aware that it is possible to make them faster and enjoyable to play. All in all this is an insult to Bob Holness!

IF YOU GO AHEAD AND BUY THIS GAME EXPECT TO BE DISAPPOINTED!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Taking the P1
Good concept, but flawed as you can't choose your own letter. It claims to have over 1,000 questions, but in 2 games there were alot of repeated questions which made the game useless. In Bob's own words, they are "Taking the P". Refund material. Our New Year guests were soon back on the Bop It!
