    good value for money5
Bought this router a couple of weeks ago and it works fine. The only thing I found was that even with the set up wizard the terminology was not clear. I phoned the Netgear helpline and the customer service was very good and explaint everything. The router was up and running 20 minutes later. I only wish they leave easier to understand instructions for all users.

AAAAaaaaaGGGGhhhhhhHHHHHHH!!! What a load of rubbish1
I'm no computer duffer, but to be honest, this is the biggest load of junk that i have EVER had the misfortune to use.
Two phone calls to Netgear's support line still didn't get me up and running properly - yes, i got it working (finally), but only if it was hard wired to the computer - the wireless side of it simply didn't want to know.
A word of warning - you HAVE to be able to hardwire this to your computer to get it set up - a slight problem as my main computer does not have a network socket on it, only wireless. Not a great start - had to set it up using my laptop, which didn't have all the internet settings on it (as i always use it via the router i already have - a Zyxel - another pile of junk, but at least it works - just slowly and unpredictably)
I'm running out of patience with these router things to be honest - as i said at the start, i'm not stupid when it comes to computers, but these things are just baffling to me.......

    brilliant5
This is a really easy product to set up. The wizard works well and detects your connection very quickly. The router is quick and although the wireless is the not the best thst i've seen, it is still very good.

This product is also very good if your adsl line has a low SNR rating (this will result is drops in connections on most modems, google SNR if your unsure what this is) however, i can easily get 8mbps without any drops on this modem. Something my orange livebox and 3 other modems could not do.
