A good buy
Basically my PC doubles as my DVD player and thus I bought this HDMI to DVI cable to display the screen of my aged PC on my shiny new LCD tv (because my PC is not equipped with a HDMI socket unfortunately). The picture quality is crystal clear on my tv (Samsung 32"), no noise, no problem. I had to fine-tune my tv's colour management settings though to get to the same colours on my telly as I see on my PC. I also had some driver problems (used XP at that time with an ATI X1400 video card) resulting in a framed picture on my tv (output was only displayed in the middle of the screen with black frame around it) but a driver update solved this issue once and for all. You should be aware that DVI is a video signal only transmission so you need to connect the audio output to your speaker system separately.

DO NOT BUY. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME
I brought this thinking it would be a good idea to have my computer put through a HDMI splitter so i can use my 22" monitor and 32" LCD tv as screens simaltaniusly but as i plugged this in to the splitter the picture quality was RUBBISH. so i unhooked it from the splitter and put it straight into the t.v and the picture was EXACTLY the same. VERY VERY disapointed DO NOT BUYYYYY!!!!!
