The SLx Gold range of aerial amplifiers are designed specifically with digital TV in mind. The gain circuit is totally flat, amplifying the full UHF spectrum equally. This ensures that no digital TV channels are sacrificed during the amplification and distribution process. Features such as tetra filter and gold connectors ensure that the signal received at each TV point is as clean and as strong as possible. The digital bypass enables any of the amplifiers in the range to be used with Sky compatible infra-red eyes for viewing and controlling Sky in another room. The surge protection facility protects connected equipment from hazardous electrical surge and spikes. The range of amplifiers include plug thru models which plug directly into mains power sockets whilst maintaining the power point, and traditional design amplifiers available with either IEC or F-type connections for a more professional, secure fit.

Works great - but ignore the Short Circuit ALarm
I purchased this to replace an old unit that worked great with analogue transmissions but heavily reduced the level of digital transmissions. It arrived very promptly and worked great - I now have three additional TV's giving great pictures on analogue AND digital as well as a Sky box output (although I have not tested the "TV Link" across it).

However, the unit has a "Short Circuit Protection" alarm that was FAR too sensitive. The TV's themselves caused it to alarm - i.e leave a short TV manufacturer's cable attached but remove the TV (A modern Sony Bravia) from the other end and the "alarm" disappears. One TV was NOT giving an alarm until I tried (as an experiment) removing the cheap Alba Freeview box before it - and immediately got an "alarm". Obviously this amp was happy with the Freeview box but not the old Samsung portable. I also got an alarm from an empty wall socket (worked great with a TV plugged in)

So, a unit that works great and is well worth the cost - but don't put too much faith in the "alarm" system.

SLx Gold 4 Way Aerial Amplifier
Had a vibrating transformer on first powering up, so not immediately usable. I'm in the electronics trade so effected a repair. Now works fine.
