Customer Reviews
Cannot fault this product.
It couldn't be easier. Install the card, plug in the aerial, load the software, and the job's done. I'm amazed at the quality of reception and the simplicity of the interface. It may not have all the bells and whistles of top of the range stuff (it would be handy to have auto-power-up and power-off for recording TV) but for the price I don't think you can do better. This must be the yardstick that other products hope to achieve.
4 stars if you can get it to work properly.
After a week, and over two dozen reinstalls, I still couldn't get this item to work properly, despite following all the instructions carefully, and downloading and installing the driver updates.
On the occasions it happened to work, it did look good, which would explain why I persevered with it.
In case anyone is interested, my computer kept freezing up, resulting in a windows disk check...(every time).
Most times the only way to gain control of the PC again was to switch off at the back, which can result in other problems.
If you think it will work on your machine, then by all means go for it, if it had worked for me I would have given it a good 4 stars.
Unfortunately, as it is, I'll have to try and return it for a refund.
A final point, my machine is less than two years old and quite capable of handling everything else I have.
Good luck.
Read before you buy!
This an excellent bit of kit for the price but it appears unlikely to work with non Intel chipsets. The symptoms are as descibed by a previous reviewer. System lockups etc.
