Manufacturer's Description
Now, all the family can join in the fun with the fantastic new Deal or No Deal electronic table-top game.
It’s part game show, part psychological thriller. It’s a nail-biting, stomach-knotting test of nerves. Who can stay in the game down to the last two boxes? Who will succumb to the lure of the Banker’s crafty offers? Who’s got the bottle to go to the wire?
It’s for you-hoo Watch everyone jump to the ceiling when, after five choices, the phone suddenly starts to ring…. Yes, it’s the Banker. He’s ringing with his first cash offer, which is displayed on the telephone’s screen. Each player then has to answer the question… deal or no deal? If the answer is ‘no deal’, the players carry on, right down to the final two boxes, just like in the TV show. By this time, no one will have any fingernails left to bite!
If you’re a fan, you’ll know that every day 22 expectant contestants pair up with 22 sealed boxes, each containing a sum between 1p and the top prize of £250,000. Then one player is chosen, he or she carefully selects one box at a time, to reveal and eliminate a cash prize until all but two are left. The tension mounts as the sums are struck off the scoreboard. The audience cheers when the smaller amounts go, and groans with disappointment if a large sum is chosen. During the game, the Banker rings the telephone on host Noel Edmonds’ desk and makes an offer to buy the player’s own box. Will the player gamble that their box contains a higher amount? Will it be ‘deal or no deal’?
This clever electronic table-top game allows four players each to play a complete game, but no one knows when or if one of the other players accepts a deal!
It's tense, fast and an entertaining variation on the hit TV show. Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).
Customer Reviews
Highly Addictive
Thought I'd purchase this for my son (10) for Christmas and I tried it when it came to see if it worked and how the game played.
Inserted the batteries and within seconds I was able to play a game and how addictive this could turn out to be.
Christmas Day will be full of East Wing / West Wing rivalries.
Will be purchasing another for my father (60) to avoid any arguments!!!!
One downside - it could have done with Noel's voice to accompany the screen.
THE BEST OF THE 3 GAMES OUT THERE
THIS IS EASILY THE BEST OF THE 3 DEAL OR NO DEAL GAMES OUT THERE ,SIMPLE CONTROLS ,EASY TO PLAY WHEN 1 OR 4 PLAYERS ARE PLAYING. I HAVE PLAYED ALL 3 VERSIONS , THE BOARD GAME IS VERY CHEAP AND NASTY , THE HANDHELD IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY IT LACKS ANY SOUND OR ATMOSPHERE BUT IS STILL A GOOD GAME FOR THE PRICE.THIS TABLETOP VERSION HAS SOUND AND THE BANKERS RING ETC. SO IT FEELS MORE FUN TO PLAY ,SO IF YOUR NOT SURE WHICH DEAL OR NO DEAL TO GO FOR THEN ITS GOT TO BE THIS ONE.
Excellent & Very Addictive!!
My son got this for Christmas & it is so easy to play, just switch it on & away you go. Its so much like the real game!
There are no ways to cheat (no peeping in boxes), so you have to play the game properly the same way as they do on TV. The music is the same, the phone rings the same & you receive offers from the banker the same, just like the TV show. It can be played by 1-2-3 or 4 players & it provides hours of fun.
I just wish it came with real money as I've won £250.000 on two occasions!
Thinking about buying it? I highly recommend it!!
