Amazon.co.uk Review
For those a little poky about catching onto the Pokémon craze, this game is a great way for the uninitiated to get their feet wet on Pokémon Pinball. Also, pinball fanatics should not dismiss this as a kid's game, because it's a solid pinball game, regardless of the Pokémon brand. Two Pokémon-themed tables, Red and Blue, are here for players to bounce the Pokéball around in hopes of catching up to 150 Pokémon monsters. The monsters are collected by hitting targets on the pinball tables and, once collected, the monsters can be perused in the popular Pokédex format. Owners of the Game Boy printer can print their prize collections and mount their characters on the wall, if they so desire.

Unfortunately, the monsters collected in Pokémon Pinball cannot be traded with other Pokémon monsters from the Red, Blue, or Yellow games, making this game a stand-alone product. A unique aspect of the game is that it has a built-in rumble pack, which vibrates and shakes the Game Boy system as the Pokéball bounces around the screen. --Jeff Young

Manufacturer's Description
The earth-shaking Pokémon phenomenon has a whole new identity as it couples with classic pinball action. The first Game Pak with a rumble feature from Nintendo. Entire Game Boy unit shakes as players knock a Poke Ball around the screen. Elements that created the Pokémon craze are incorporated into a pinball game; the pinball is a Poke Ball; and Boltorb and Shellder are bumpers.

A whole new way to collect Pokémon--playing pinball. Features a Blue field and a Red field; players must play both to collect all 150 Pokémon--just like the Red and Blue Pokemon Game Boy games. Hit targets with the Poke Ball to collect and evolve Pokémon. Shoot the Poke Ball into Bellsprout's mouth to start the "Catch 'em" Mode. As players become more skilled, rare and hard-to-find Pokémon appear. Every Pokémon is automatically recorded in the Pokedex. Find the bonus stages to rack up a high score and upgrade the Poke Ball to a Great Ball, Ultra Ball or Master Ball to achieve even higher scores. Print out high scores with the Game Boy Printer.

Gotta catch them (pinb)all!5
This is a great game for the gameboy colour. I got it ages ago and still play it on my gameboy advance, its that good. I'm working on catching all 150 Pokemon and its a real challenge.

There are two tables, each with extra tables that are made available by hitting the correct bumbers etc. as you'd expect on a real pinball table.

The built in rumble pack is very good, but you can switch it off if playing in company (or people will think you have a stomach complaint).

The only niggle is that each table is split screen, so you only see half the table at a time - as the ball passes half way, the screen kind of scrolls to show the other half. However, I'm quite used to it - its so quick that you don't notice after a bit.

If you are a Pokemon fan - buy it. If you are a pinball fan - buy it. Enjoy!

GET IT!5
I cant stand pokemon and hate all the other games i think the idea is stupid. BUT i have to admit this is a raelly good game even if u dont like pokemon the gameplay is really good the best pinball game for a handheld console and the rumble pack gives a great effect.

Catch 'em all on the pinball table3
You've blasted through Blue, roared through Red and you're gonna get Gold. So why not try the latest game in the Pokemon craze. A pinball game, Pokemon Pinball combines pinball action with the great fun of Pokemon, with a built in rumble pack. An excellent buy for Pokemon or Pinball fans alike. You've goota buy it.
