Review of Saturday Night Takeaway
I was looking forward to the release of this title. The television series was enjoyable and this disk promised to deliver the highlights. It does. There are some great moments and they will have you laughing out loud. Ant and Dec are very good and thrive on live television, this title is them at their very best.

The disk lasts for 90 minutes, and one feature I particularly liked was the fact that Ant and Dec had filmed various pieces to camera, which explained why they enjoyed making the programme, and why they enjoyed certain parts in the programme. These pieces were filmed in an interview situation, and it is very interesting to hear what they both think about their own programme and how much work goes into making it.

There are also 45 minutes of extras on the disk in which Ant and Dec talk more about the celebrities that have appeared, and the things that they have enjoyed. There are also further extra highlights of other items in the programme. The extras can really be called further highlights from the television series. Ant and Dec do talk in some depth about the series, but I think viewers would be interested to see behind the scenes footage or outtakes.

The highlights themselves are very well put together and with a comment from Ant and Dec every so often to tell us about what is happening, this makes watching interesting. Letting the artists explain what they wanted to achieve. The best feature of the disk without a doubt.

The disk is entertaining, informative, fun and will certainly be enjoyed be many Ant and Dec fans. However, do not expect some extras that are really different, the extras could easily of been placed in the main highlights programme and not looked out of place, apart from that though, the disk is great, and will certainly entertain you. Maybe I am being a bit hard on the extras. However for me, behind the scenes footage, outtakes, or a photo gallery would of been an improvement.

With the extras being a slight, and only a slight letdown, I have given this disk a four star rating. In short, highly entertaining! The highlights are brilliant, the disk as a whole is very good, but just improve the extras.

When i first got Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Take Away, i watched it, then i had to watch it again, then every night, i had to watch it because i thought it was hilarious (being a big fan of Ant and Dec)! You can't go wrong when you say this is a wicked DVD. I love watching the extras and i think it's all really funny! Thanks for making a DVD of the best bits from their brilliant show. I love it so much. I will be watching it again tonight and i'll be laughing my head off, so don't be surprised if you can hear me! Well done, guys!
