Brilliant analysis and great read
Quite frankly, I come from a new breed of Rugby League fan, having taken it to my heart whilst at university in the grim north. This book is a great grounding in the product that is now Rugby League in Great Britain, an innovation that has taken the national team from perennial losers to finally punching their weight. Most interestingly, the SUper League now has the right to say it is the best competition in the world, with my adopted club, Leeds Rhinos, recently confirming the fact in the World Club Challenge. I must say it is intelligent, informative and a great starting point in understanding the last true working-class sport in GB.
