rugby at its best - truly great
rugby at its best is unique in what its brings to the screen. Bill's great, masterful, colourful voice highlights the great sporting moments over his time at the B.B.C. The disc is divided up into seven great segments in which the best rugby players are reviewed and their best moments captured for all time. In the last chapter Bill, highlights that through all the great games he has comentated on through out the years, he enjoyed every moment of every Scottish win, as he would have loved to be on the pitch every time, they won, or beat the english at rugby.

Rather McLaren at his best
Very entertaining, excellent tries and the great matches where Bill Mclaren was priviledged to be the man behind the microphone for many decades. This DVD makes one again realise why this game is loved by so many people over the world. It is however not rugby at it's best but more the best rugby games he was behind the microphone. How could the mighty Springboks not get any recognition on this DVD? Still a good buy.

Where are the Springboks??
A very good show if you are a rugby loving person, with a lot of really good moments in this fantastic game.However,Bill concentrates on all the home nations as well as N.Z. and Aus. but where are the Springboks?!The show has one mention of the boks and that is all!I'm sure in Bill's 50 years of commentry the mighty Boks must have at least excited this rugby commentating ledgend at least once!
