When I heard that Coleen Rooney was publishing a style guide I was curious. I'm not a fan, but I don't have anything against her either. Having now read it, I can recommend it to the fashion conscious.


COLEEN'S REAL STYLE is written in a cozy style - it's like you're having a cup of coffee with Mrs. Rooney.

The book is nicely set into different sections; Dresses, jeans, travel, accessories, make-up etc. And the photos are stunning.

That said I didn't actually learn anything new. Most of the advice has been said and printed by many advisers, journalists and stylists, in magazines, book and newspapers all over the world countless times.

Still; the fact that Coleen names high street brands we can all afford rises this book up to four stars.



A lovely, non-preachy, style guide. I would get another book, if one was ever published, just because of the nice, intimate writing style.

A gorgeous book for fashionsistas.
I longed for this book because I knew I would love it. As Coleen is one of the most wonderful and inspiring stylists but this book comes with everything a girl needs to know about fashion. The clothes in this book are beautiful and come in smart, day and evening clothes. Coleen gives advice on hair, make - up, shoes, travel, and so much more. This book has made me look at fashion at another view as I love getting dressed up for day, evening, special occassions, you name it. A must have for everyone who loves fashion and very much worth the money too.

A PERFECT GIFT FOR TEENAGERS
If I had the chance to flick through this book more thoroughly whilst Christmas shopping I wouldn't have bought it.

The book in my opinion would suit someone who is in their late teens who is starting to really appreciate fashion.

The information that is in the book I have learn't from my Mum and also from magazines such as InStyle and Vogue and other sources so it can be repetitive.

The photography is excellent and the content is good. The writing style was good in places and let down in other areas for example fave shops and lush fabrics. The proof reader missed typos that should have been corrected. The grammar could have been better "Me and my friends" should have been "My friends and I".

Coleen did cover the areas very well and if this is your first fashion book purchased you will probably be pleased with the content. In my opinion there are better books out there.
