The UK's bestselling TV presenter and number-cruncher produces the biggest and best book on the puzzle phenomenon
From the Author
Dear Amazon Readers:
I am told that the first step for any addict is to admit it. So here goes. My name is Carol Vorderman and I am a Sudoku addict.
I thought I could handle it, I thought I was in control, but every morning I rip Sudoku grids out of newpapers so that I can try them later on. I'm always looking for one more precious puzzle fix and I've even been told off for
tackling Sudoku off-camera during the filming of Countdown.
Writing this book put me in seventh heaven with Sudoku grids on my walls, floor, desks, everywhere. Paradise! This book is the complete Sudoku book with 200 puzzles from easy to super-difficult. I've also included mountains of
tips and tricks which will help you to become a Sudoku master. Not only that, to show you how to use the logic tricks, I've written complete solutions to all levels of puzzles taking you from the beginning to the ecstatic end. Loads of Sudoku fiends I've shown it to love it. I hope you do too.
About the Author

Customer Reviews
I'm 12 and this is the best book!!!!!! OH YEAH
There were some really good at maths girls in my class who were annoying the rest doing some really good times at Sudoku. My teacher in maths sets sudoku at the beginning of the lesson. My Dad, who's really into Sudoku, bought me this book, and now I'm a hero. I can beat them hollow. Ha ha ha. Carol Vorderman rocks.
The best beginners book
For its modest price, this is a brilliant book for beginners. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the claim on the front cover to show me how to be a "Sudoku master". The so called super difficult puzzles are not, in fact, all that difficult and are not rated above medium or hard by a computer program I now use. If you want to learn about solving techniques like Swordfish, X-Wings, Forcing Chains, etc you will need to look elsewhere. That said, this book is a really good place to start - great to take on holiday with you, or for a rainy day.
My time for fiendish is down from 50 minutes to 20 minutes
This book has everything. My time for fiendish (or super-difficult as this book calls them) has more than halved - down from 50 minutes to just 20 minutes. There are lots of pieces of logic that I've read elsewhere but didn't understand before I read this book. She has written it brilliantly and in a friendly way unlike the nerdy bits that appear on the web sometimes. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to go to a higher level or just wants to cut their time down for each puzzle.
