Customer Reviews
Read it, it's worth every page
This book really focuses on it's title, i.e. getting rich.
It's not written with some sort of teaching methodology. It's purely honest and wise advice stemming from someone who traveled the long road to getting rich. You will read about riches, failure and luck, character/personality strengths, negotiation and delegation, how to start and run your business... Everything straight from Felix's experience.
It's simple, it's clear and it's realistic, it doesn't beat about the bush. Plus it is interspersed with anecdotes, funny comments and poetic bits which make it a really pleasant read. You will learn and enjoy!
This WILL BE a "classic" business biography
I first became aware of this book when it was reviewed in The Sunday Times. My first thought was, what an awful book that sounds. Such a naff title. And look at the bloke who's written it...
How wrong could I have been?! I finished the article and thought, "well actually that sounds quite interesting". Then a few months later I was ordering a pile of books to take on holiday (South of France of course - good place to read it - with all that money down there).
This is such a great book; written by someone who has actually "done it" and is still doing it when he could easily be sitting back and retiring.
Honestly, I could not put it down, it was so entertaining. Felix tells us about his own past - business and personal - with frankness that most people (including me) would not have the guts to even consider.
The book is superbly written and contains some of Felix's poetry which by the way is of a very high quality. You have to take your hat off to a man who has made it by building his own business and who then devotes his time and money to writing poetry and planting trees. I do. Much more commendable than wasting it on gin palaces and jets etc.
Lastly, for those of you who want advice on business, it contains stacks of that. I thought the book was such a good read that I bought ten copies to give to friends and family for Christmas presents.
Buy it! This should still be at the top of the business bestseller list. Much much better than some of that other questionable stuff that seems to linger up there for so long.
And, thanks to Felix for writing such an honest book. I take my hat off to you.
PS. The holiday was on a campsite by the way! A good one though. Thoroughly recommend. http://www.lesnaiades.co.uk/ near St Tropez. I have happy memories of lying by the 50m pool each day reading Felix's book and quoting it out loud to my other half.
Inspiring,Truthful, Brilliant... The Best of the lot...!
An inspiring, truthful, brilliant book. No nonsense, straight from the horses mouth, which tells it how it really is.
Thank you Felix, finally the book I've always been looking for...
The only thing it can't do, is be less than perfect...
Quite BRILLIANT!!!!!!!
Thanks again
