Customer Reviews
Emphasis on PSP techniques for PHOTOGRAPHERS makes this book a real winner for digi-cam users!
A beautifully produced book with good clear type on top quality paper with possibly the best colour photographic illustrations I've ever seen.
As a user of versions 8 - 11 of Paint Shop Pro, I thought I was fairly skilled in using the programme, but Ken McMahon gives such a wealth of tips and tricks using the new features of PSPPXI, that even someone with little or no knowledge of the software can easily learn to tweak mundane digital shots into images that zing with vibrancy.
A really big bonus in owning this book is being able to download all its photographs from Ken's own website [...], so you can carry out each step of his instruction on your PC whist having the book propped open beside you.
More advanced topics, such as layers, masks, combining images, resizing or uploading to the web, are described and stunningly illustrated in the same clear, user-friendly style that the author uses throughout the book.
I'd go so far as to say this is a first rate guide that no digital photographer should be without; even keen amateurs and professionals cannot fail to be impressed by its contents. Image editing was never such fun or so easy to learn.
The Missing Bible
This book has everything and more you would want as a photographer. Easy to follow and a joy to work with. What Coral missed Ken Mahon simplified.
A wonderful book.
Excellent
I'm only part way through reading this book and I've already discovered more about PSP than I ever new was there. The book is clearly written and very methodically ordered to help you get the best out of this richly functioned programme. I only hope Ken is going to add more content to his website.
