I love her books...just wish she could publish more and quicker, but knowing the handwritten work is long it is appreciated that much more! I wonder how many of us that read and collect her books would like to be just like Susan! She is nostalgic and homey, whitty and relaxing. Can't wait for her next work.

This is a pleasure to read.
I am not even a cook and I loved this book. The drawings, quotes, and little anecdotes are well worth reading. I just tried one of the recipes and surprise! It was great! And I didn't think I could cook! I would buy this book just for the sheer fun of reading it. You don't even have to be a cook.

The most wonderful part of this book is that the recipes are easy to follow, actually work and the food tastes good! Our favorite recipe is the fresh corn salad made with cilantro and lime juice.
