Customer Reviews
Fabulous! A must have!
This is probably the best children's book around. Even though I read it about a thousand times in the last month alone, it never gets boring. My 17 month old son absolutely adores it and so do my husband and I. This is a must have for every parent. I recommend the "board book" edition so that your little one can turn the pages by himself.
Brilliant - a must have for all kids
I read this to my daughter so often that I can almost recite all the words from memory - which comes in handy when trying to keep a wriggling child still enough to change her nappy!
Highly recommend - I have just purchased some more books by the same author - including the Gruffalos child. Fantastic!!
The Gruffalo - a book for every child's library!!
Absolutely fabulous book for both children and adults alike. My 2-year old son insists on this book being read to him every night. I was a bit wary at first as I thought it would be scary for him - how wrong could I be - he just loves it and so do I - we all get rather carried away with the different voices of the various animals the little mouse visits during his trip through the 'Deep Dark Wood' until he meets the Gruffalo.....
Brilliantly written and wonderfully illustrated - I can thorougly recommend this great rhyming tale to any child (and adult) with imagination!!
