Synopsis
Following on from the hugely successful PETS and FARM, this well-researched cloth book has been developed to appeal to babies from birth. The mix of high-contrast images, crinkly pages and mirror will stimulate baby's senses and make this a perfect first introduction to books. Babies love looking at faces and will find the friendly animal images and patterns fascinating. The book also has a strap, so it can be attached to cots or buggies, and very simple text to help parents discuss the images with baby. It's never too early to give baby the gift of books.

Customer Reviews

Lovely5
Friends recommended this book to me so got it for my baby boy. He loved it from first moment. Very nice book.
Would definitely recommend it!

Brilliant from day one5
Having read a recommendation on Amazon I bought this book for my daughter and from day one she has loved it.

We bought this and another black and white book and placed one in her cot and one next to her changing mat. When she is in either place, she instantly turns to look at the pictures and will stare at them content for ages. They've been a real life saver as they keep her calm on the changing mat and help her to nod off by herself when in her cot. She is now five weeks old and has now started 'talking' to the pictures, it's really sweet to see.

I've since bought this book for all my other friends with young babies. This book is a must buy; it's excellent value for money and babies love it!

Great book for babies5

My 2 month old son loves this book. I purchased both this book and also First Cot Book (First Focus) - and this one is the better of the two.

Within 10 minutes of using this book my son learnt how to turn the pages (well, he learnt that if he pushed the page up, that daddy would help finish turning the page) - and he really loves being able to control what page he looks at.

There are 6 pages, a picture of a man's face, woman's face and baby's face, and some patterns on the other 3. My son only has an interest in the 3 faces for now, and doesn't show the same interest in the patterns compared to some of the patterns found in First Cot Book (First Focus).

The other nice feature is a velcro strap that can be used to attach the book to a bouncer's bar to keep the book in place if you get tired holding it up (although at 2 months my son can't enjoy the hanging book much yet).
