Product Description

Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff is one of the most exciting cricketers in the world and has improved out of all recognition during the last two years. In 2003, he was England's best player at the World Cup. Then, explosively, he lit up the second half of the summer in 2004, lifting spirits at Lord's with a bat-smashing 142. He walked off with the England man of the series award and averages to flaunt.

This book marks his story so far in his own words, taking us up to and including the summer of 2005. Freddie will highlight the moments and matches in his career that helped him dramatically on his way forward, and reveals what it is like to play for one of the most successful England cricket teams in recent times. This lively anecdotal account of a cricket star's life will inspire and entertain in equal measures.

Freddie Flintoff's Story - Outstanding Reading5
I don't normally purchase books about stars who are in their prime but in the case of "Freddie" I made an exception. This book was read in just a few days and later on I plan to read it again and again. I have enjoyed every single page and nothing in this book was hard to read, heavy or boring. Andrew Flintoff has had some pretty difficult times, but through the honesty of true friends and by displaying a determination to reach the top in cricket he has been able to turn things around to the point that this summer he played a vital role in the glorious Ashes success over Australia. Though that Ashes success is only a few weeks old Andrew Flintoff details his thoughts and memories during those mesmerizing weeks This book also contains lots of beautiful colour photographs of Andrew Flintoff's career to date along with those from the recent Ashes success. Reading this book demonstrates plainly that Andrew Flintoff, world cricketing superstar, is still a down to earth bloke. I simply cannot recommend this book highly enough.

An entertaining read5
This is a book any cricket fan will enjoy, or indeed any person wanting to know more about Flintoff.

Flintoff takes the reader from his school days through to the end of the Ashes summer of 2005. He doesn't hold back much, and describes all the highs and lows of his career, and how he felt about certain situations on and off the field, including his thoughts and experiences with other top players. There is plenty of humour to be found as well, making the book entertaining from the start to finish.
There are lots and LOTS of photos throughout the book, spanning his life so far. A really good read!

An excellent book on the legend that is Freddie Flintoff!!!5
An excellent autobiography, that tells the story of Andrew Flintoff in his own words.

Read about the highs and lows throughout Freddie's carrer. One of my favourite memories Flintoff recollects in the book involves a glass of ice and David Lloyd... I'll let you wait to find out what thats about!

A worldclass effort, though, I do ponder as to why Fred has decided to write an autobiography when he's got plenty more highs to come in his carrer? I guess he's cashing in on his Ashes success! Good idea!!!
