Nothing remotely powerful
The plot is totally ridiculous. From the first chapter it is implausible. You will find it hard to believe that Stephen Frey wrote a book this bad, but he did and the more of it you read the worse it gets.

Don't buy this book, but do buy his earlier books, they really are fantastic. I remain a big fan.

I liked it
I have so far liked all of Frey's books in this series (The Chairman, The Protege and The Power Broker; I have yet to read The Successor). I think Frey's a great author and have loved all of the books I have read by him so far. Keep it up.
