An excellent primer
Let's face it, there is no easy way to learn how to touch type. It's mind numbingly dull. However this book provides a sensible approach to learning a skill that is extremely useful in the modern office environment. It takes the learner from the basic middle row keys all the way to using the whole keyboard. It also provides revision tests which enable you to test your progress. After using the book for two hours a week for three months or so I can now touch type accurately at around forty words per minute. If you are serious about learning to type with all fingers then I would recommend Ruth Ben'Ary's approach.
