Original story - Cliched ending
Gripping book but let down by a really poor ending - it was such a cop out. It was as though the author had completely run out of ideas and couldn't think of an ending. Very disappointing...

I've just started reading this book, and i'm absolutely hooked!
The style of the writing flows really well and its easy to imagine yourself stood close by watching the actual events.
I'm seventeen and i would recommend this book to anyone of any age
it's not just a book for teenagers!

Kevin Brooks has done it again with this incredible story of a boy who is different to everyone else, as far as they are aware. This captivating novel, written in the smooth yet gripping way that has distinguished Brooks as one of Britain's top authors keeps you hooked until the last sentence in this unusual page-turner. This is an absolute must read for any one!

You may have wondered why I have only given this book four stars if it was such an amazing read. It's difficult to explain fully without giving much away but I can say that the questions Brooks frequently poses to the reader, the ones that really make you think, could have done with being answered a lot better than they were. I think that it is crucial to have a good ending in a book yet sadly, I was dissatisfied with the ending of this one because I don't think that it really ended anything.
