My Daughter's Favourite !
For my 10-month-old daughter, this book is her favourite. She loves the illustrations which are the usual cheerful and colourful Baby Einsteins-style, with happy-looking cows, tigers, penguins and so on. What really does it for her, though, is an adult making the relevant animal noises (she giggled for the first time in her life to me buzzing like the bees in this book).

My baby daughter is obviously still too young to understand and answer the five questions - based on counting - asked on every page (but one) of this 8-spread-book. The questions only go up to number five, they are quite simple, for example "How many suns can you see" and "How many ears does the cow have". The correct answer is always displayed numerically next to the question, this will probably help with number-recognition but once the child learns the numbers, they can just read the answers...

I have no hesitation in recommending See and Spy Counting, it really is a lovely little book!
