Review
Written in diary mode, the self-obsessed observations of teenager Georgia Nicolson are very funny and not a little outrageous. The 'Angus' of the title is her mad wild ginger cat who terrorises the neighbour's poodle; the 'thongs' are what the girlfriend of the sex-god she is in love with wears; and 'full-frontal snogging' is what she dreams of experiencing. In addition, she has to put up with little sister Libby, an incontinent toddler, and parents who don't appear to understand her. Not surprisingly this caused controversy when it was shortlisted for 9-11 category of the Smarties Award. (13 yrs +) (Kirkus UK)

Very Funny
I read this because I wanted to take my nine year old daughter to see the film and wondered if the material would be suitable. I found it very readable, which given that I am completely the wrong demographic for this kind of book was kind of worrying! I did find myself laughing out loud at several points, which is not something I usually do with books.
The hero, Georgia is fourteen, obsessed by her appearance and boys and perpetually humiliated by her family. The book charts her life in diary form over several months and her pursuit of a teenage 'sex god'.
I caught myself wishing this book had been published when I was a teenager, because I know I would have read and re-read it and found it totally hilarious.
Fab!
I Loved This Book... Although It Is A Few Years (6 Years To Be Exact!) Since I Read It I Still Think It Is A Great Read!!
Funniest book i ever read!
This is the most hilareous book i have EVER read! I laughed out loud from cover to cover, and all of the rest of the titles in the series are just as good! I can't wait for the next one!
