It Helped Me To Switch5
It doesn't matter which magazines you buy that are for Apple computers, the brainwashing starts straight away, such is Apple's marketing skill.

So when I was considering buying an Apple laptop, I wanted to find something 'independent' and the Dummies guide appealed.

The advice inside was clear, and they are impartial. It pointed out a few downsides to Apple computers, but there certainly aren't many of those. To coin a phrase, a liked the book so much I went out and bought the computer. Occasionally I dip back into it just to clarify a few points, but in my expereince Apple computers do just work. It appears the marketing isn't all brainwashing. It's true.

This is a useful book at allaying your fears if you're fed up with Microsoft and are considering switching to Macs.

Essential reading for a switchover5
I recently switched to a mac from windows and found this to be invaluable. I would have been totally lost in the mists of time without it. The Dummies series is written in a way that even I can understand!
