Brilliant for the survival enthusiast!
Of the four survival handbooks I own this has to be the most useful and enjoyable. This is because of the fantastic layout and full colour diagrams and photographs. With full information on how everything is done with step through guides and diagrams makes it easy to understand. I strongly recommend this book to hikers, travellers or anyone who is interested in the subject.

Excellent Source Book for Survival in Wilderness
This book is very good in that it shows exactly how to survive in the wild with illustrations, not just words. In fact, the book is full of illustrations covering everything from lashing to building shelters to catching fish--and more, showing exactly how it's done with illustrations and photographs along the way.

This book is magnificent. The author's credentials, always the most important factor, are excellent.The book is loaded with fascinating and indispensable survival techniques. It should be in the library of both beginning and advanced outdoorsmen.
