Synopsis
When cheerleader Amber Mackey goes missing and is later found dead, many blame Lightning Girl, Jess Mastriani, for not stopping the brutal killing. But when Amber went missing Jess was on holiday. It wasn't her fault! How could Jess have found her when she didn't know that she was missing in the first place? When another cheerleader disappears, Jess has a chance to redeem herself. But just how is she supposed to keep her psychic powers secret from the feds, while at the same time tracking down a murderer - especially when the number one suspect turns out to be living in Jess's own house?

fabby
great, another episode in jess mastriani's life. following on from where we left her at the end of code name cassandra. more smooching with rob, dealing with the fbi and a football quarterback.
loving the entire series, sanctuary next then missing you if i can get my hands on it.
Missing - it's great!
Missing, safe house is a brilliant book out of a series of four and is the 3rd book of them all. The other books are
When Lightning Strikes
Code Name Cassandra
Safe House
Sanctuary
This book over all the others is my favourite.
The missing series is all about Jess Mastriani. In the first book Jess is struck by lightning and develops ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) and the power to find missing people. She lies to the feds about it and now trouble’s come. In this book a cheerleader went missing and was later found dead. Jess was blamed for not finding her by peers. She was on holiday! Later on another cheerleader goes missing and she sets out to find her. The trouble is, how can she find the cheerleader AND keep the feds from the truth? Not only that, but she also has big problems of her own, such as Rob, the man she loves refusing to go out with her!
This is a fabulous book that you just HAVE to read and you would be stupid not to. You have to be 11 or over to read it because parts of it can be quite scary for younger kids.
ONE WORD: WOW
Another FANTASTIC book from the 1-800-WHERE-R-YOU series.
I seriously don't even think there is going to be a day when I will feel BORED of reading the books!
As usual, like a normal person, Jess is having problems. BUT they aren't NORMAL problems me and you have eveyrday. I mean would you have Feds chasing you, and keeping a constant watch on you everyday thinking you don't even have a clue, while you do?Or being blamed for SOMETHING THAT WASN'T YOUR FAULT about a murder? Just because you were in a vacation? And having the whole school turned against you? Uh-uh. Jess is having the hellof a bad time. The whole school is blaming her for not being here to help Amber before she died. But it wan't her fault. More like Great aunt Rose's fault really. Still Jess gets caught up in quite some terriyfing things, the story is unpredictable!
One thing leads to the next, that Jess isn't even sure what the truth is anymore....
Another amazing book by the brilliant Meg Cabot. You will be MAD to miss this.....
