Product Description

This diary doesn't just record your daily doings; it dictates them, resulting in what the authors call "extreme self-improvement". Now in its fifth year, with half a million copies sold worldwide, the "Diary Will Change Your Life" is a modern phenomenon. Instructions for 2008 include: disciplining other people's children, making the Dalai Lama lose his temper, stoning people you disapprove of, and trying to change Osama Bin Laden's mind. Part instruction book, part religious cult, part beautifully-designed mayhem, this anarchic humour bestseller is guaranteed to change anyone's life, and who knows? It may even be for the better.

Editorial Reviews

The Independent, November 1, 2007
Packed with out-there suggestions of things to do, it's both inspired and inspiring.

The Guardian on previous Diaries
Hip, visually delightful, and almost endlessly engaging book...they have solved at least one of your Christmas present problems. Don't settle for a boring black desk diary when you can have the latest "This diary will change your life".

News of the World
Less an actual diary, more a recipe for insanity.

Customer Reviews

Useless1
No really - this is useless, my copy is sitting untouched & I would be too ashamed to give it away!

Don't take this too seriously3
It's meant to be entertaining and it's certainly outrageous in places. I had fun reading through the weekly tasks but I don't think I'll be following their experiment. I appreciate the sentiment that this really could shake up your life and change your way of thinking, but it's not for me.

l like more the cover than its content.2
If you are interested buying this book consider that it is not a self-help book but rather a self-destroy, for it puts you doing ridiculous things, from being someones guardian angel to destroying someones reputation (Oh, and if you are a member of Greenpeace I strongly suggest not to buy it, for it contains a day that the 2 authors suggest spending a week literally destroying the environment, in the insane excuse of ,,taking revenge for Mother nature"). But is fun to read anyway...
