Good book, superfluous CD
I'm in two minds about this package of book and CD.
Firstly, the information contained in the book is nothing new to me, and to any other people familiar with the topic of nutrition. But there is a lot of "technical" terminology, with numerous anatomy terms and terms related to nutrition and healty-living. So the book is useful to refresh your knowledge and reiterate what constitutes a healthy life-style.
What I find disappointing is the CD which is typical pf this type that seems to be so popular nowadays where the author, in this case Carol, speaks in a dreamy voice which to me sounds ridiculously patronising as if speaking to a deluded moron who can't manage doing anything on his own but needs to listen to a CD to tell him how to live, work, eat, sleep, relax and o on.
In conclusion I find the book very informing but the CD is a let-down and I think I would have respected the author more if she hadn't included it.
