About the Author
Born in 1935, Monty Roberts won his first riding trophy at the age of four and went to college on a rodeo scholarship. He has worked with horses all his life and his incredible 'join-up' technique - with which he gets an unbroken horse to accept its first saddle, bridle and rider in around 30 minutes - has made him famous the world over.

A personal remembrance of 4 legged friends
Most people who have ever had anything to do with a horse, personally or from afar know who Monty Roberts is. This is a book that will have meaning to all horse lovers.

Unlike his previous books this is not instructive, it is a personal tribute to the horses who have shared his life and here you will encounter some well known names as well as his own favourites. In sharing his relationships with them with us he gives us rare insight into himself.

Well written and a nice gift for yourself or a friend.

What can I say Fabulous
This book is a moving story of the horses that have come into Monty's life and the way that they have helped him to perfect his join up technique. He speaks about each horse with a real sense of understanding and love, a true horseman.

I bought this book for my husband and all i can say is WOW!! in the 13 years we have been together it is the first time i have known him not only to read a whole book but not to put it down until it was finished.
