A "must" for all nosey people!
I stumbled across this story online after it featured on BBC Worlds "Click" programme.
I was hooked! I read a lot of everything and could not wait to see what Holly was up to every day.
Online the story unfolded in real time. In the book it is up to you, but I can assure you that you will not put this book down until you have reached the end.
Holly's life in Holborn and her interactions with colleagues, friends and family reflect a 21st century womans life in the city.
I cannot wait for the movie and the sequel.
A book with a difference
Being an avid reader....and getting through at least 2 books per week, my imediate thought was 'nahhhh' when I read the back of this book for a possible purchase..'who wants to read other peoples emails?'But I kept coming back to it and in the end bit the bullet and bought it....
Got home and basically read it in a day...couldn't put in down!! Its not often you find a book like that, especially when you read as many as me...tired of the same old formulas.
I'd recomend this book to anyone.
Quite possibly the best book ever!
Everyone shops for books differently, some people take the time to read the synopsis on the back, some (like my friend) buy it just becuase the cover looks good and others know exactly what they want. I stumbled across this book by accident and though that it it looked like it could be an interesting read, how was I to know that I had stumbled across one of the best books ever! The fact that you're reading emails and not pages and pages of monotonous dribble made it easier to get through, I sat down on a sunday morning and before I knew it sunday evening has come and I'd finished it! It was addictive and so many girls can relate to the problems she goes through. I've recommended it to several people and if you're not a big book fan the website www.hollysinbox.com has the entire book in email format so you can catch up when you like!
