Genius...
Just received my copy yesterday and I'm totally engrossed. It's full of great detail, well formed characters, beautiful dark visions, every bit as atmospheric and fantastic as Barlowe's paintings. He has created a unique and expansive picture of Hell and its inhabitants, detailing the history, the landscapes and the atrocities like some visitor back from the wastes of the Inferno itself. This book is an absorbing read and I would of given it five stars but I haven't finished it yet, I'm positive it will get that extra one no doubt! I recommend viewing his artwork from previous books on the Inferno to get an all round picture of this awesome world he has created, or visit his website at waynebarlowe.com. Enjoy!

Haven't finished yet but it's very good so far. It's at least a 4-star but probably even better.

It's a very vivid description of Hell and it's protagonists, with an engadging story of one Demon Major change through the millennia and its consequences in all of Hell.

A must read for fantasy fans.
