Flawed, but still excellent
As already said, this is a transcript of a seminar, and not a very good transcript at that.
However, the fact is that it helps you be there, and that is more than enough.
Grinder is in top form.
It is almost as if the seminar was a trance in it's own right, this book is the next best thing to being there.

Still one of he best hypnosis books
Every time I read Trance-formations I get something new from it. Even though it's expensive I highly recommend it for anyone genuinely interested in NLP and hpnosis

The greatest hypnosis book. Fact.
The simple step by step approach used in this book is the reason for its greatness. Tranceformations totally demystifies the process of hypnosis and it's application. When reading a "how to" book, people get the "how" to do something - this book also tells you why the techniques work so well. This allows for the reader to recognise that ALL LANGUAGE is hypnotic. It's just a matter of recognising patterns that exist and then using them to fit the situation. This book spells out those patterns - how and why they work, and gives plenty of examples to demonstrate and excercises to practice. After reading this book a few times I started to realise why the price remains high. Also, at the back there is a DERREN BROWN style mind reading trick to practice. A truly awsome book!
