Editorial Reviews
Nicholas Faith, wine writer
At last, a clear and readable key to the complex conundrum which is French wine.
Robert Joseph, wine writer
Any intelligent attempt to make sense of France's complex wine world is as welcome as an oasis in a desert.
Serena Sutcliffe, Sotheby's
The concept is very good and new and beautifully explained. I particularly like the "also try" sections.
Customer Reviews
Best simple wine guide!
This is a very simple, easy to follow wine guide paryicularly useful for people little knowledge of wine. It is in a very handy size that you can take with you to your Odd Bins, etc. The Best thing I found of this guide is the 'ALSO TRY' suggestions - you know what you like but may be it is too pricey, out of stock, or you just want to try something else that it may be slightly different.
A well recommended small little guide.
A great stocking filler!
This pocket-sized book unravels the complexities of French wine - bringing clarity even to a non-wine buff like me! A little gem.
Santa baby hurry down the chimney tonight.
At last something small, perfectly formed and just what us girls have been waiting for! Not only has this been amazingly useful while out on the town, it has also been invauable when finishing off the shopping list for dinner parties. Easy to follow, small enough to fit in a handbag and not even vaguely condecending, this is a MUST for all our stockings this Christmas.
