Synopsis
"The Holy Moly! Rules Of Modern Life" is the ultimate guide to everything you ever wanted to know about everything but were afraid to ask. Combining hundreds of hilarious life-rules submitted by the readers of Holy Moly - the web's most scurrilous gossip site - with dark and sometimes disturbing illustrations, THMROML is destined to become a must-have book for the person who hates everything. Includes such pearls of wisdom as: people with white earphones may bore you; there's nothing you could wish for in life that you can't buy off a man in a pub; never, ever, mix sleeping pills and laxatives; more water features = bigger herons and under no circumstances should two men ever share an umbrella.

Tim McGrath1
A very small and very thin book, some pages have just one line, other pages just have a cartoon drawing. If you joined all the lines on each page together I don't believe you would have enough to fill one and a half A4 sheets of paper. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The cover notes state this is the authors first book, let's just hope that his second offers more value for money!

Absolutely hilarious5
This has to be one of my books of the year. Holy Moly's rules of modern life have had me and my husband crying with laughter on occasion, particularly the Bluetooth headset one (#70), oh, and #14. (Unfortunately they are both a bit too rude to quote here.) Oh yes, and all Londoners will appreciate #8. The cartoon illustrations are equally brilliant. This is genius stuff. A perfect Christmas gift, or just buy it any time of the year if you are feeling miserable - it's guaranteed to make you smile.

Small but perfectly formed.5
This is a small book. It doesn't have loads of pages (as you can read above) and there aren't many words but it is funny. What makes it funny is that it is so true. I force nearly all my guests to read it, but I don't let them borrow it!
