What An Excellent Role Model and a Fantastic Book
I bought this book for my 9 yr old Daughter who really loves Miley Cyrus. She is a fan of Hannah Montana, but a huge fan of Miley Cyrus, so when I heard this book was out I purchased it for her Easter Present this year.
I read it before she got it due to the fact that Miley is a lot older than she. I didn't want to give her something that was too old for her.
Miley wrote about:
What it was like to grow up with a famous father that worked, how they had to move regular
Her likes, Dislikes,
Her fads (things she obsessed about for a short period of time)
Her family life in Tennessee (her Home, pets & relationships especially with her Dad and Pappy)
The Bullying she went through at school ( The Make Miley Miserable Club)
she talks about her relationships (there are No sexual references)
Her Music (the Music she writes and Plays not Hannahs music which is wrote for her)
Her auditions for Hannah Montana (and the emotional rolercoaster of not knowing and being rejected)
How Billy got the job on Hannah and who got the job first.
talks about Filming the Hannah Movie in ( which may I add is unlike the disney channels sitcoms,which I'm not a big fan of. It is a really Great Movie it really shows Miley's ability to act)
She also talks about how she has to abide by her parents family rules one of which, when they are at home or out as a family and away from work she is a 16yr old child not a Celebrity!
she Talks about her mum and how much effort she puts into her children and how she couldn't have got where she is today with out her whole family's support.
I personally thought it was a good book. Miley is an inspiration to all children everywhere. My Daughter thought it was a Great book and it helped her to know that someone who she admires went through bullying too, the book has taught her that you have to stick with your dream until it comes true and the only time you fail is when you give up. as Miley says "A Trying Time Is No Time To Quit Trying" and "the More you stomp on Poo the More it Stinks"
Its a Must for all Hannah and Miley fans!

Miles to go
This book gives readers and fans a real different take on the young star. It's an entertaining, informal, insightful and at times deeply saddening account of the 16-year old up to the stage of where she is now.
I would reccomend buying this book before it gets dated. At times you can definitely tell it was written by a child and Miley tries to put every aspect of her life into the book. It is a good read and the pictures are interesting.

Couldnt put it down.
I recieved this book this morning and couldn't put it down.The book makes you see Miley in a different light,it shows you she is just a normal teenager who had to go though tough situations to get to where she is today.This book is intresting,funny and heart warming i really recomend this book its a great read.
