About the Author
Narinder Dhami is the author of Starring Alice Mackenzie, published by Harpercollins and second prizewinner in the TSB Birmingham Children's Book Award 1996. I found that book is very interesting!The topic of this book is very interesting and its very easy to understand it! In this book is a girl who would like to bend it like Beckham!But her partents are against that she plays football they want to see that their child can cook! BUT jess wouldn´t like to cook anything! I had read it! And i found that book was very good

Fantastic!
I found this a great book. It's a book about a mix of soccer and love and I think most teenagers will like that. I've enjoyed reading it very much! I found it even better than the film. The book is very well written and it's easy to follow the line in the story.
Maybe later I'll read it a second time because it's a very beautiful and exciting story.
I hope there are more such books to read, I really enjoyed it!
I'm not a fast reader so this book was perfect for me! I really recommend this book to everyone!
