Great, straightforward book for working out on the ball5
This book is portable, lightweight and easy to use. It is a clear and straightforward guide to many excerises using the swiss ball. I first came across Ellie Herman's teachings in her book "Pilates for Dummies" which I found surprisingly comprehensive. She covered a small chapter on ballwork in that book which inspired me to get this one. I was not dissapointed. This book will act as a great complement (and extension to the ballwork) covered in her other book, but is equally great as a standalone book focussing purely on using the ball. I found the instructions easy to follow and pictures clear to understand, though just wish they had of been in colour.

This book, though fairly slender is brilliant value for money, and its size and ability to stay open on the page you open it at make it a really accessible and useful book to use.

An amazing book for every ball addict5
As an experienced gym goer, I was looking for something more interesting to do with the ball rather than just standard crunches and leg lifts. This book is completely amazing. I only started using it four weeks ago but have already received many comments about how much more toned I look. It is really simple to use, the step by step illustrations telling you exactly what to do. As I had never done pilates before I found this very helpful. The dos and don'ts are great to, because they ensure that you maintain correct technique throughout each exercise and get real benefit from the exercises. A great book with plenty of different, graded exercises to help you keep your workout varied and interesting.
