Not a book per se, more a short story
Call me a miserly skinflint if you will, but 9 quid for 60 pages seems a bit much.

That said, I liked Ted Chiang's short story collection so bought this on a whim. It is a fairly mediocre tale of time travel and Eastern fatalism with a couple of story-within-story nesting tricks - entertaining enough for a half-hour's read but with close to zero re-read value.

If you don't object to buying a single short story in one book, go for it. In my opinion, in both quantity and quality it doesn't merit the cover price.

A brilliant short story
Whilst this edition is painfully expensive, this is one of the best short stories/novellas I have read. Also, check out the reading the good folk at the StarShipSofa did in it's podcast a few months ago.
