Customer Reviews
A Well-Worth Read
Im a Huge fan of the .hack series, and i must say this is a brilliant adaption. Its set in the view of the character "BlackRose" and it is basicly all the things you didnt see her do in the PS2 versions in which you played as Kite.
This Book, much like AI Busters, is a whole new story in itself and explains the origins of BlackRose.I.e how her brother fell into a coma(why she started playing), why she chose that name, and it has out of game chapters which tie in to some of the emails you recieve from her in the game.
Not as much artwork as AI Busters which recieved 5 Stars, but is still much worth the read !
Didn't Check The Details But Was Happily Suprised!
I was expecting this book to be a sort of Manga style graphic novel; I was sort of embarrassed to see the order was not what I had initially expected. Regardless of that, being a big fan of the .Hack// graphic novels I do own and not really knowing how the franchise really started off I decided to give the book a chance.
I was happily surprised, the book was very engaging, I myself am not a huge reader of novels and books but was happy to read this, it's all written from BlackRose's point of view. It details about how her brother enters the World and when he falls into the coma her feelings and reactions as well as the relationships she cultivates with Kite and other people. It really drew me in.
I really am in love with these books, as I'm writing this I am nearing the end of volume 2 and making my way onto volume 3.
If you buy this product and are a fan of the series I am really sure you will enjoy it!
