About the Author
David Wallechinsky is the author of numerous books including The Peoples' Almanac, David Wallechinsky's 20th Century; History With the Boring Parts Left Out and The Complete Book of the Olympics. He is also vice-president of the International Society of Olympic Historians. Amy Wallace is the co-author of four previous volumes of The Book of Lists, as well as several other popular reference books. She also wrote the biography The Prodigy, the novel Desire, and the bestselling memoir Sorcerer's Apprentice: My Life with Carlos Castaneda. Her most recent work is an all-new anniversary edition of her classic, The Psychic Healing Book. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California, with her two cats, Hank and Bella.

A book that's very hard to put down. In places fascinating, in others humorous and in many downright wierd!

Packed with facts!4
This is an excellent book, packed with strange information which you can use to baffle and amuse people with.
The lists cover nearly every subject imaginable, from sport to films to politics to food.

You will learn something new everytime you dip into it.

Worth rreading but a little outdated3
If you are a fan of worthless knowledge you will enjoy this book. A little outdated but fun reading
