An excellent introduction to chess.5
An attractively presented and altogether excellent introduction, or refresher course, to the game of chess. With many colour illustrations, the book takes you through the history of chess, from its very beginnings to the present day, with photographs of some of the more famous contemporary chess masters at play.
It follows this up with a beginner's guide to the fundamentals of the game, and eventually progresses onto more advanced tips, tricks and classic moves and techniques on how to win. I would unreservedly recommend this book as an invaluable addition to any chess player's library.
