Product Description
G4 are the British Il Divo-style pop opera singing group who stunned audiences and shot to fame in television’s the X-Factor. They have had successes across both pop and classical charts and are the first group of their type to cross over to a mainstream commercial audience because of their older demographic. Their first album went straight to No 1 in the UK album charts, selling 245, 000 copies in its first week, and their upcoming sell-out tour promises to be a mixture of the chart successes, pop tunes and classical greats. Packed with exclusive intimate photographs, G4’s story tracks their early childhood to meeting at the Guildhall School of Music, and their recent encounters in the spotlight.

G Force
The G4 book by Classic FM station master Darren Henley is a treat for fans. It gives a good insight into the auditioning process for the X Factor and you get a real feeling of what an exciting journey the chaps of G4 have been on for the past 12 months. They come across as down to earth, likeable, committed young men, who enjoy socialising with friends and family, but also work very hard. It is the story of 4 graduates coming to terms with fame - something that so many want but only a few actually get. The reader really gets a sense of how amazing it is for them to have their dreams come true. It is a lovely read. My only gripe is that it is too short. I would have liked even more detail. There are some great pictures and a nice chapter on each of the 4 members. A must for G4 and X Factor fans.
A Fanatstic Book For G4 Fans
After a phenomenal year and coming second in ITV 1's X FACTOR G4 (Jonathan Ansell, Michael Christie, Matthew Stiff and Ben Thapa) have finally released their offical book called Our Way which is very true too it's name.
The book starts from X Factor though too the current moment detailing what it was like with auditions, bootcamp, the live shows, no 1 album and a sell out tour. The book also tells of their aniexties, worries and excitment that will make you either laugh or cry with plenty of new and old pictures from the X Factor until now.
Also each each member tells their story of when they we're babies up until the present time with photos from their own photo albums.
This is one book for the young and old G4 fans.
G4 - a personal conversation
I thoroughly enjoyed this book (apart from a couple of typos!) and it made for a very pleasant afternoon's read.
It was almost like being in the same room as each of the G4 members as they told you about themselves, their childhood, their hopes and dreams. Not at all like a stuffy autobiography.
I was fascinated with the behind-the-scenes information about the X-Factor, and its judges and crew. Additionally, I learned a lot about the world of music(instrumental and vocal, classical and pop), studying, recording, practicing etc. The information is imparted in an easy-to-understand fashion, and has added to my enjoyment of G4's music as well as that of other artists.
Definitely a must for all G4 fans, and for any youngster who may be considering taking music as an educational subject or who aspires to become a serious musician.
