There's Warmth inside Every Page
In "Q" - THE AUTHORIZED BIOGRAPHY OF DESMOND LLEWELYN, we read the open and honest story of a man as he grows up and becomes famous to lovers of the James Bond movie series. Few subjects are avoided as Desmond gives us full access to his strengths and weaknesses, his moments of pride and fear, as he goes through Repertory Theatre, through WWI as a POW, and into the role of "Q" with the Bond series.

I was fortunate to have responded to an advertizement packed in the DVD of "The World is Not Enough" for an autographed copy of this book by the authors (Sandy Hernu transferred his rememberances to paper). As it was being shipped from the UK, we all received word that Mr. Llewelyn had died in a traffic accident on his way to a book signing. Upon receipt, I opened the cover to see a page saying, "This is to certify that this book is number 919 of a signed limited edition of 1000 copies." If I could only have two books in my library, they would be THE BIBLE and this one.
