Evertons Glory Years, The Skippers Perspective.
This book provides an intriguing perspective upon Everton's dramatic rise to success during the 1980's through the eyes of team captain Kevin Ratcliffe. The book perhaps lacks some of the biting personal opinion of Graeme Sharp's, or Andy Gray's account of the same period, but Kevin Radcliffe's passion for the club he supported as a boy is evident in every chapter. Although the book focuses primarily on Everton football club and the Welsh International team, chapters such as `Great Players from my Era' and `Today's Great Players' provide a valuable insight into some of the big names in football through the eyes of a fellow professional.
