Its a head scratcher
Marvellous. This has had my brain whiring for hours. Good to keep all the cobwebs away. I love Sudoku and this is the pure genius.
You must get this
A real pleasure to keep in your pocket. It tucks away anywhere but still has over a hundred real brain-teasers to tie your brain in knots.
Orange Belt
Describing this as "black belt" is misleading. The puzzles are not difficult even though the back cover says "WARNING: All puzzles are migraines!". Much easier than The Times fiendish or The Daily Telegraph tough. Let's call them moderate or medium. This would be OK if you want some puzzles that aren't for beginners but keep you happily occupied for a while. Once you get into the swing of them they are not challenging. To be fair though the puzzles are enjoyable enough to do and are not as facile as many I have seen in tabloids. You still have to apply logic. The book itself is small enough to easily tuck in jeans pockets which is convenient in one way but can be fiddly to handle (it is about 4 x 3.5 inches). The paper is the best quality I have found in a Sudoku book which makes working in pencil very easy.
