Average customer review:Product Description
It Is Just You, Everything's Not Shit is a life-affirming (although slightly piss-taking) guide to all the things that make life great. It is warm, funny and its heart is in the right place. Is it just me or is everything shit? was the question posted by Steve Lowe and Alan McArthur in their two bestselling books. However, no one seemed to have the courtesy to answer them. Until now.

About the Author
Steve Stack has written (under various pseudonyms) for Private Eye, The Times, The Observer and lots of little magazines that probably don't exist any more. He is on a mission to convince the population of the planet (although a handful of people would do) that the world is actually quite a nice place when all is said and done.
Customer Reviews
A book guaranteed to make you smile
I've been randomly dipping into this book over the past few days and on every reading it has brought a smile to my face. Steve Stack's collection is full of all the simple, and often silly, things in life that can't fail to make you happy. The perfect antidote for the terminally miserable. Highly recommended reading for anyone who's had a bad day.
Is it Just me- or is this book so good?
An A-Z treat of things worth celebrating. Tightly written with a subtle undercurrent of humour, this book opens your eyes to the simplest things in life that are not crap. I read the book from cover -to-cover but it lends itself to a 'dip in' approach too. Even when you've read it, leave it lying around, revisiting each page is like meeting an old friend. A treat of a book and a perfect antidote to those whose glasses are half empty!
the perfect toilet book
This book has proved the perfect medicine for my grumpy mood this week. It manages to delight and inspire without ever resorting to sentimentality. It deserves to become a bestseller. I have been chuckling away while flicking through its pages. It will have pride of place in my toilet library.
