In the year 2000, Jacky watched Jaya, the man she loved, hover on the brink of insanity. It was the most traumatic and terrifying experience of her life. When his anguished search for enlightenment caused him to access dramatic spiritual insights and visions from other cultures and centuries, Jacky's life took on a turbulence she could barely manage. In Jaya's 'blinding vision' on his journey into the mind, God bestowed on him a dark and perilous mission to perform here on earth . and one that was accompanied by unlimited power. Soon his daily life began to run parallel with a story that was written five thousand years ago, bringing devastation and destruction to every area of his life. The incredible twists and turns that Jaya's 'spiritual crisis' took from this point on led Jacky to the brink of hell and back. Imagine an ego so wildly out of control that he claimed even 'God worked for him now!' This is an amazing true story. It is a story about love, heroism and . survival.

An honest and mind blowing account of love and control
I originally purchased this book as I knew the author through her therapeutic work and was curious about the content. I wasn't prepared for the story that unfolded and couldn't put it down until I knew how Jacky's trauma ended.
Her direct and poignant script made me feel I was in the experience with her; I found myself tensing at the prospect of her partner's entrance and unpredictable behaviour. The start of the book introduces the reader to a sample of her partner's delusional rantings; the seeds are sown for the darkness which follows. This is not a book to dip in and out of, unless you have no curiosity or compassion, it compells you to read every last word in an attempt to find answers to this tragic situation.
Anyone struggling to understand why victims of domestic violence stay in relationships should read this book. Jacky was manipulated and controlled by 'Jai' on many levels and was rendered powerless by him. She had many strengths and abilities, yet this relationship nearly destroyed her. Jacky's account reminds us how vulnerable we ALL are; physically, mentally and spiritually. This is a book I will never forget. I wish Jacky and her family a more peaceful future and look forward to the next publication.
A can't put down read!
Reads like a novel, but a true story. I dare you to start and stop before the end. Riveting! Started reading at 9 pm, finished at 5.30 am, wish she could type faster for the sequel!! Outstanding!
For All Mentally Abused Women
If you have ever been the victim of mental abuse, then this book is a must for you to read and relate to. Unlike victims of physical abuse, no one can see the gradual scaring, mental torture, and soul destroying that any single one person can do to you with just a constant barrage of words and unsocial behaviour that you, the victim, are the only one to receive. Gradually your self esteem gets eaten away like an underlying cancer and no-one but you knows this is happening. Only your dear closest family can see the changes in you, and to everyone else, your partner is the perfect husband, father, friend anyone can have, YOU are the one that must be 'disturbed'.
This book takes on the whole issue of a person possessed so greatly, that they think they can rule the world and will do anything in their power to achieve this.
Go buy this book, you will not be disappointed, you will see, you are not alone.
