Customer Reviews

cooking granny5
I was given this book when I became a Granny, and I love it, many of the recipes remind me of when I was a child. I love the way it is written and the new 'take' on old themes. A great and practical cook book!

A lovely book5
This is the best cookery book ive read in a long time.Down to earth and nostalgic. The recipes have been written for people who love 'a proper dinner' followed by a lovely pudding.

Nicely nostalgic5
This isn't a book about cooking with your grandchildren, it's a collection of recipes like Mum or Grandma used to make - brought up to date to suit modern tastes and kitchens. Nothing too tricky here, but plenty of inspiration. I love it and will use it a lot.
